Unwrap a classic horror icon with the Universal Monsters The Mummy Hot Wheels Silver Series Rip Rod.
Part of the 2026 Hot Wheels Silver Series, this striking 1:64 scale die-cast car brings together Mattel’s distinctive Rip Rod casting and one of the legendary Universal Monsters.
The car features an ivory, brown and gold colour scheme inspired by The Mummy, complete with themed graphics along the sides and gold-coloured wheels. Even better, this particular Rip Rod features glow-in-the-dark detailing, adding another suitably eerie touch to the design.
The low-slung Rip Rod is an inspired match for The Mummy. Its exaggerated hot-rod styling, exposed wheels and distinctive body shape give the car a dramatic appearance that stands apart from a conventional road car.
The model is presented on an illustrated Universal Monsters blister card featuring classic artwork of The Mummy. The warm reds, golds and browns of the packaging complement the car itself, making it an eye-catching piece for carded collectors.
The Mummy Rip Rod is number 3 of 5 in the 2026 Universal Monsters Silver Series. The complete collection comprises The Bride of Frankenstein ’40 Ford, Frankenstein Cockney Cab II, The Mummy Rip Rod, The Wolf Man Drift Rod and Dracula ’55 Chevy Panel.
Whether you’re building the complete five-car set or concentrating on classic horror memorabilia, this is a fantastic crossover between two instantly recognisable names.
With its monster-inspired presentation, unusual Rip Rod casting and glow-in-the-dark feature, The Mummy Hot Wheels Rip Rod makes a great addition to a Universal Monsters collection.
Keep it sealed and display the atmospheric card artwork, or add the Rip Rod itself to your Hot Wheels collection. Either way, it’s a distinctive celebration of one of horror cinema’s most enduring monsters.
