We came, we saw, we kicked its… popcorn?
Capture something supernatural with the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Ghost Trap Light-Up Popcorn Bucket. Released exclusively through AMC for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, this fantastic cinema collectible recreates one of the most famous pieces of Ghostbusters equipment.
Designed to resemble the iconic Ghost Trap, the bucket combines movie-inspired detailing with interactive lighting effects. As a result, it’s much more than somewhere to keep your popcorn.
Few movie props are as instantly recognisable as the Ghostbusters’ equipment. Alongside the Proton Pack and P.K.E. Meter, the Ghost Trap has been an essential part of ghostbusting since the original 1984 movie.
For Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, AMC transformed that familiar piece of equipment into an exclusive popcorn bucket.
The design recreates the distinctive shape and industrial appearance of the Ghost Trap. Moreover, its detailed finish makes it an impressive display piece for any Ghostbusters collection.
What really makes this Ghostbusters Frozen Empire Ghost Trap popcorn bucket stand out is its interactive lighting.
Switch it on and the illuminated details bring the trap to life. Consequently, it looks particularly impressive displayed alongside other Ghostbusters props, figures and cinema collectibles.
Of course, it was originally designed as a functional popcorn container. However, once movie night is over, it becomes a fantastic piece of display memorabilia.
Just make sure there isn’t actually a Class V Full Roaming Vapor inside before you open it.
This Ghost Trap was released exclusively through AMC Theatres as part of the merchandise range for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Therefore, it was not a standard retail release.
Cinema-exclusive popcorn buckets have become highly collectable in recent years. In particular, elaborate designs based on famous movie props can disappear quickly once their theatrical run ends.
For UK collectors, imported US cinema merchandise can also be difficult to find. That’s why TheMovieMerch.com brings collectibles like this across the Atlantic and ships them directly from the UK.
Whether you’re building a dedicated Ghostbusters collection or simply want a miniature Ghost Trap for your display, this AMC exclusive is ready for duty.
Whatever you do, don’t cross the streams.
