Return to the beginning of the RoboCop story with the Alex Murphy Ultimate 7” Scale Action Figure by NECA. Based on Peter Weller’s unforgettable performance, this detailed collectible captures the Detroit police officer before his transformation into RoboCop.
Featuring an authorised likeness of Peter Weller, the figure recreates Murphy in impressive detail. Moreover, a selection of interchangeable parts and accessories allows collectors to display different moments from the movie.
Transferred to Detroit’s Metro West precinct, Officer Alex Murphy soon discovers just how dangerous the streets have become. However, his encounter with Clarence Boddicker and his gang changes everything.
Murphy’s fate ultimately leads to his transformation into the cybernetic law-enforcement officer RoboCop. Therefore, this RoboCop Alex Murphy action figure represents an essential part of the character’s story.
NECA has captured Murphy’s police uniform and appearance with impressive attention to detail. Most importantly, the figure features the authorised likeness of actor Peter Weller.
Part of NECA’s Ultimate range, Alex Murphy stands in 7-inch scale and features extensive articulation. As a result, collectors can create a variety of poses inspired by the movie.
In addition, Murphy comes with interchangeable hands and his service pistol. An alternate battle-damaged head is also included, allowing you to recreate a darker moment from his story.
Together, these accessories provide several display possibilities. Alternatively, pair Murphy with NECA’s RoboCop figures to show the man and machine side by side.
Released in 1987, Paul Verhoeven’s RoboCop became a science-fiction classic. Behind the action, however, the film also delivered sharp satire and an unexpectedly human story.
At the centre of it all was Peter Weller’s Alex Murphy. Consequently, a figure dedicated to Murphy makes a perfect companion to any RoboCop collection.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan of the movie or building your NECA sci-fi collection, Officer Murphy is ready to report for duty.
Your move, creep.
